Stroke Awareness
The Nebraska Stroke Association helps communities across the state recognize stroke, reduce risk, and connect with trusted resources.
Our stroke awareness work includes:
- Promoting the B.E. F.A.S.T. stroke warning signs
- Providing community education and presentations
- Supporting public awareness campaigns and events
- Sharing educational materials with hospitals, schools, workplaces, and community groups
- Connecting stroke survivors and families with local resources
- Partnering with healthcare professionals and community organizations across Nebraska
- Expanding outreach to rural and underserved communities
We also support initiatives such as Strike Out Stroke, digital awareness campaigns, and statewide partnerships that help more Nebraskans recognize stroke and act quickly.
