Strike Out Stroke brings stroke awareness into the heart of the community through a fun, highly visible partnership with the Lincoln Saltdogs at Haymarket Park.
The event combines baseball, stroke education, community engagement, and fundraising to help more people recognize the signs of stroke and understand the importance of acting quickly.
Throughout the night, attendees are introduced to B.E. F.A.S.T., local stroke resources, and the work being done to support stroke survivors and families across Nebraska.
Strike Out Stroke also helps raise support for programs connected to the Nebraska Stroke Association and regional Stroke Camp opportunities.
More Than a Ballgame
Strike Out Stroke is a great example of what can happen when healthcare professionals, community organizations, businesses, volunteers, survivors, and families come together around one shared goal: making stroke awareness part of everyday life.
