Life After Stroke
Recovery doesn't end when you leave the hospital.
Life after stroke can bring a lot of change—for the person who had the stroke and for the people who love them. Recovery may include therapy, new routines, questions about work or driving, emotional changes, caregiving, or simply figuring out what life looks like now.
There is no single timeline for stroke recovery. Some changes happen quickly. Others take time. Wherever you are in your stroke journey, you do not have to figure it all out at once.
The Nebraska Stroke Association is here to help you find information, support, and connection for what comes next.
