Support groups offer a place to share experiences, learn from healthcare and rehabilitation professionals, find helpful resources, build friendships, and receive encouragement throughout recovery.

University of Nebraska–Lincoln Aphasia Support Group
The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Aphasia Support Group provides community, conversation, and social connection for individuals living with aphasia. Participants have opportunities to connect with others who understand aphasia while working alongside speech-language pathologists and graduate speech-language pathology students.
The group focuses not only on communication strategies, but also on everyday conversations about family, current events, hobbies, sports, arts, entertainment, and life.

Meeting Schedule: Offered in sessions consisting of approximately 8–10 weekly meetings
