There are so many ways to make a difference—and you don’t have to be a stroke expert to get involved. Whether you’re a student looking for meaningful experience, a community member ready to give back, or someone who wants to share their voice and experience, we’d love to find a place for you at the Nebraska Stroke Association.
Student Fellows
Designed for college students and emerging professionals who want hands-on experience while building skills, connections, and their résumé. Fellows can help with outreach, education, events, communications, research, and special projects while learning how a statewide nonprofit works.
Great for students interested in: healthcare, nursing, therapy, public health, nonprofit leadership, communications, marketing, social work, or community engagement.
Community Volunteers
Our community volunteers help bring NSA’s mission to life across Nebraska. Opportunities may include helping at events, supporting outreach and education, assisting with special projects, connecting with stroke survivors and families, or lending professional skills behind the scenes.
Flexible opportunities are available for different schedules, interests, and experience levels.
NSA Speakers
The Nebraska Stroke Association is seeking volunteer speakers to help educate and connect communities across Nebraska through presentations, health fairs, support groups, and outreach events.
NSA provides approved educational materials, presentation guidance, and support for every speaking opportunity.
