Having a stroke can be a devastating event. Stroke takes a toll that is hard to measure in terms of suffering, not only for the survivor, but the caregiver as well.
The Nebraska State Stroke Association offers a myriad of groups to help deal with the effects of stroke. Just a few of these are listed below. We encourage you and/or your loved one to get involved with one or more. The services provided by these groups can help bring your life back to normal.
The Nebraska Stroke Advisory Council is a coalition of stroke experts who collaborate to recommend and implement key strategies to reduce the burden of stroke in Nebraska.
